Jogging pants, sneakers, and a T-shirt are usually the ideal go-to items for traveling. But not for Nicolas Cage. He is often seen at the airport wearing a biker jacket and leather pants, the perfect rock star look.

It is hard to forget the python skin jacket Nicolas Cage wore to play Sailor Ripley in the 1990 film Wild at Heart by David Lynch. Fun fact, this jacket actually belonged to the American actor. For filming, he would pair it with a black shirt, Levi’s jeans and a pair of black leather boots. When another character said the piece looked like a stupid clown jacket, Sailor responded: “This is a snakeskin jacket! And for me, it’s a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom.”

That quote essentially sums up Cage’s entire approach to getting dressed.
